Duncan H. Lawrie Leadership Award
For CS students only
The Duncan H. Lawrie Leadership Award is for undergraduate students enrolled in the Department of Computer Science who have completed their junior year (i.e. current seniors), who excel academically, and who have demonstrated exceptional qualities of leadership and good citizenship. CS department head from 1990 to 1996, Professor Duncan H. Lawrie first arrived on campus as a graduate student working on the ILLIAC IV. The award honors his longtime contributions and service to the department.
